Swing steel doors are the solution for all places where a sectional or roller door would be excessive: technical spaces, secondary entrances, passages between rooms. Four variants, each optimized for a different scenario — you choose based on the opening width, whether visibility is needed, and if the door is outdoors with insulation requirements.

Single-leaf swing doors

The classic construction for technical rooms and secondary entrances. Single leaf, galvanized steel frame, lock with profiled cylinder. Simple, robust, almost zero maintenance.

  • Galvanized steel painted in any RAL color
  • Standard dimensions: width 80 - 120 cm, height up to 215 cm
  • Lock with DIN cylinder or master-key compatible
  • Left or right opening, as needed
  • Optional: automatic threshold for sound insulation

Recommended for: electrical rooms, transformer stations, boiler rooms, compressor rooms, technical entrances, small storage rooms.

Double-swing doors

For large openings where a sectional or roller door is not justified. One active leaf plus one fixed, or both active – your choice. Perfect transition between leaves, with no visible intermediate mullion.

  • Total width: 140 - 240 cm
  • Symmetrical (50/50) or asymmetrical (40/60, 30/70) configurations
  • Automatic bolt for the passive leaf (remains fixed until needed)
  • Compatible with self-closing systems

Recommended for: mechanical workshops, warehouses with pallet goods access, production halls, auxiliary entrances to industrial buildings.

With a secured glass window for visual inspection before opening. Ideal for areas where you don't want to enter blindly — corridors with vehicle traffic, collective garages, entrances to areas with moving machinery.

  • Secured or anti-break glass viewer
  • Rectangular (300×400 mm) or round surface
  • Optional: one-way mirror for privacy
  • Available on single or double leaf variants

Recommended for: collective garages, industrial changing rooms, passages from production halls to offices, corridors with vehicle traffic, production halls with machinery.

Exterior thermal insulated swing doors

Hörmann MZ Thermo65 variant — thermally broken frame, polyurethane foam panel, perimeter sealing gaskets. For external entrances where a standard steel door would freeze in winter or sweat in summer.

  • Panel thickness: 65 mm with polyurethane foam
  • Thermal coefficient U: up to 0.87 W/(m²·K)
  • Wind resistance: class 4
  • Available with one or two leaves, with or without a vision panel

Recommended for: secondary external entrances, personnel access to air-conditioned halls, entrances to guard posts, doors for prefabricated offices.
